The Magical and Unexpected Adventure (Part 1)

Chapter 1

A very long time ago, on a very quiet river, there lived a poor family who wished for another place to live. There were three children and one dad, all living in one bedroom.

The younger girl called Yuny, the 9-year-old boy called Jack, and the older brother Sammy had experienced lots of adventures, but they don’t know what big and dangerous adventure awaits them. 

The red house sat on a large, silver rock (Jack called it the “home rock”). The rock was said to be “unmovable” (which of course it is not).

One evening, the sky strangely looked red. The dad named Justin said curiously, “Why is this sky red? Is it a sign of danger, or a sign of luck?”

Suddenly, the large rock wobbled fiercely, beneath them. Yuny fell into the river (the river measures 1080 kilometres deep), but luckily she knew how to swim. 

Chapter 2

Now, the rock was wobbling at very big angles. The house was moving with the unstable rock, crackling with every movement. Justin, Jack, and Sammy watched Yuny drift away helplessly.

Unfortunately, the house split into two halves. Sammy saw a large wave coming very fast. 

In the meantime, Yuny climbed onto a cliff, but it was too high. The large wave crashed onto the cliff, sending Yuny flying into the air. “Dad!!!” she shouted. 

“I hear you,” Justin said.

“I –” Sammy started, before – BAM! – the wave split the house into a million pieces! 

They splattered down into the river. Sammy fell onto the rock while the rest fell into the river. Justin saw Ruby, while Jack climbed onto the rock. 

Then, the lifesavers came to help. Life saver Lilie was a/9 years old. Lifesaver Benjamin was a/9 year/s older than Lilie. After that, Rocki (8 years old), and Suski (16 years old) dropped down into the river. Rocki, Benjamin, and Dustin ran to the white shore, but there was a big wave that buried them under the river.

“Hey,” Rocki murmured to Justin. 

Meanwhile, the rock fell, making a big SPLASH! noise. 

“You know what’s best,” said Sammy to Jack, as they plummeted down into the water.
Rubi took hold of Sammy’s hand, as they swam to Jack. Benjamin and Justin helped Rocki get up to get a breath.

Suskie and Lilie were trying to find Benjamin, but instead, they got pulled underwater by a shark! Suskie put on a breathing mask, while Lilie wore another.

“They got pulled underwater!” Rocki shouted. 

Jack told Sammy what Rocki said. Justin was fortunately on shore in one piece. 

Yuny got on shore, but she was on the other side of Justin. She ran fiercely through the woods, trying to keep track of where she was going. 

Sammy, Jack, Rocki, and Benjamin were the ones on the water. Sammy and Rocki went south, while Jack and Benjamin went north. They experienced separate adventures.

Chapter 3

Yuny suddenly came across a white wall with a door. 

“What is beyond this place?” Yuny wondered. 

She slowly opened the door. She sneaked in, but she realised that she was in complete darkness, and the only light was outside! She didn’t dare close the door. Yuny climbed rotten staircases, and then entered a room. A “secret” room.

Then, she saw a teenage boy. Tom. He wore beautiful shorts and black jeans. 

“A pretty cold place, huh?” he said coldly.

Yuny did not feel good. 

“If you enter this secret passageway, you will get trapped. Forever. Unless you find the red light and press it,” Tom continued.

“Hmmm,” Yuny thought.

While, in the river, Lilie scrambled up to the surface, leaving Suskie alone. The shark was about to eat her when – BANG! BANG! – there was sounds that sounded like gunshots! Well, it was gunshots …
