We offer regular workshops and events throughout the year - in small group settings, one-to-one, for children right through to adults (forever young writers, in our eyes!).

For Kids & Teens

Welcome to The Storytellers' Club!
This is a workshop for highly motivated young writers (8 - 12 years old) who are eager to write, learn new skills, and find inspiration in a variety of creative writing prompts and engaging discussions each week.
This is the perfect space for kids who love listening to the work of their peers and offering constructive feedback, as well as sharing their own writing (if they want to).

Join us in the studio for creative writing workshops to help your inner storyteller shine!
Suitable for ages 8 - 13, Story Camps are held in the school holidays at our Balwyn North studio (Melbourne).

Book your own time to write with an experienced writer and mentor, and we’ll tailor a program just for you!
Available for 1:1 sessions, or private groups of up to 5 young writers.
Online and/or in-person.

Join us for a casual Creativity Picnic, co-hosted by Words of a Feather & The Provocative Inklings.
Creativity Picnics are free. Just bring your projects, a blanket, and something to share if you’re staying for the picnic part! -
Join us for an open-mic night of provocative, evocative readings brought to you by Words of a Feather and The Provocative Inklings.
All are welcome to put their name in the hat to share writing and stories in any format. All are also welcome to simply enjoy a wonderful night of readings.
Story Soirées are held every two months.
