We offer regular workshops and events throughout the year - in small group settings, one-to-one, for children right through to adults (forever young writers, in our eyes!).

For Kids & Teens
The Storytellers’ Club (8 - 12 years old)
This is a workshop for highly motivated young writers (8 - 12 years old) who are eager to write, learn new skills, and find inspiration in a variety of creative writing prompts and engaging discussions each week.
Story Camps (8 - 13 years old)
Join us in the studio for three days of creative writing workshops these school holidays to help your inner storyteller shine!
Writing Mentorships (all ages)
Our writing mentorships offer dedicated time with an experienced writer and mentor who'll work with you (or your child) to develop skills, explore ideas, and build confidence on the page.
For Adults
Le Story Soirée
Inspired by the literary cafés of Paris, these supportive open mic nights are held every two months in Brunswick, VIC.
Writing Days
Dedicated time and space for your creative work, in community. A full day, every second month, just outside of Melbourne.
Writing Retreats
Escape into your writing at our immersive 4-day retreats in beautiful natural settings. These are held twice a year.
For Schools & Groups
WOAF mentors are available for hire for school incursions, school holiday workshops, community events, professional development, private parties, and more. If the option you have in mind is not listed, please feel free to ask!
