Submissions are open to all 2024 participants in Words of a Feather and/or Provocative Inklings workshops and events. This includes:

• Creativity Picnics

• Story Soirées

• Writing Hours/Gatherings

• Flash Fiction competition

This anthology is a collection of writings by participants aged 16+.

All writings should be previously unpublished. Authors retain full copyright of their own work.

Word Limits:

Short stories, Creative Non-Fiction, Memoir: up to 3000 words

Poetry: up to 20 lines per poem; up to 3 poems

Script: up to 1000 words

Formatting:

• Please include your full name, city, and a short bio (less than 50 words) in your document.

• Times, 12pt

• Indented paragraphs

• .doc or .docx file

Editing:

Please edit your writing to the best of your ability before submitting (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.). We are a small team creating this book mostly out of love! If your writing requires significant editing we will return it to you for editing, or we will have to leave it out.

We will not accept any writings that do not meet the above guidelines, or which include content we deem harmful to our community and the greater public.
