  • Amy Han - WOAF Founder & Chief Créatrice

    Based in Melbourne and Paris.

After completing her BA (Creative Writing) and a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing, Amy dreamed and wrote stories while working in children's book publishing, marketing, editing, and in schools teaching circus arts and parkour.

She founded Creative Write-it in 2011, and has been focused on supporting, teaching, and providing exciting opportunities for young writers ever since.

Amy is most recently the author of The Yard Sale at Story House (January 2024).

  • Julie Dickson - WOAF Mentor & Studio Coordinator

    Based in Melbourne.

Julie has a BA (Professional and Creative Writing) and is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).

She has worked as an editor, copywriter and journalist, and her writing has been published by WORDLY, SOCIETY19 and the ABC. In 2022, Julie was awarded a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship and a place at Varuna - The National Writers’ House to support her in completing her novels.

In her spare time, Julie can be found getting lost in a book or working on a young adult novel draft that always involves a curious protagonist and a sprinkle of romance.

  • Livia Creț - WOAF Leader (Oradea) & Mentor

    Based in Oradea, Romania.

Livia had a taste of the graphic arts in high school and a sip of humanities (BA in Philosophy) until she finally found her passion: creative writing. She recently received her MFA in Creative Writing, and for a year she was part of the Parisian literary community.

She mostly writes magical realism short stories and creative non-fiction, with occasional bursts of poetry. At the moment, she’s drafting her first novel.

Her prose and poetry have been published in Romanian and English literary magazines in print and online.

In addition to writing, she is passionate about Japanese pop culture and confesses that she could listen to Miley Cyrus sing endlessly.

  • Eliz Bilal - WOAF Mentor

    Based in Melbourne.

Eliz has been writing and creating characters since she first came across the adventures of Peter Pan and Harry Potter as a child. She is currently completing a Masters of Arts in Writing and Literature with a specialisation in Children’s Literature.

Her works have been published in WORDLY and the national Australian Genealogist magazines. In 2019, she completed an internship with US organisation ‘Girl Museum’, where she wrote articles based on empowering women in the Arts. Eliz is currently drafting her first novel that infuses old-world and fantasy literature.

  • Susannah Cosham - WOAF Mentor

    Based in Melbourne.

Susannah has a lifelong fascination with words and stories. She has been creating both original fiction and fanfiction since childhood, when she would fill notebooks with observations about those around her, in a practice inspired by Harriet the Spy.

She has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Linguistics and a Master of Information Studies in Children's Librarianship, and has worked with children in community settings for more than seven years. Susannah was a NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) winner in 2021 and 2022, and is still seldom seen without her writing notebook.
