July Flash Fiction Comp: WILD

🌿 July Flash Fiction Competition 🌿

There is something in us that remembers wildness. Something older than the rules we've learned, the spaces we've learned to fit ourselves into, the voices we've learned to soften. Something that knows.

This month's theme is... ✨ WILD ✨

Whether it's the untamed place inside you that civilisation never quite reached, the natural world reclaiming what was always hers, a character who refuses to be tamed, or the moment you stopped apologising for taking up space — we want to read your tiny stories of instinct, freedom, and the courage it takes to run with it.

We're thrilled to welcome @threesidestoyourstory as our July guest judge! Brittany is a former journalist, communications professional, and storytelling workshop facilitator who helps people find the words for the experiences that shaped them. On the theme of WILD, she puts it beautifully: "Society doesn't always make room for wildness, especially wild women. There is a quiet judgement that sits around women who trust their instincts, who take up space, who refuse to be tidied. But through Women Who Run With the Wolves and my own life experiences, being wild is the thing we were never meant to forget."
